We have 8+ acres with over 400 Dunstan Chestnut trees growing! We are currently planning our next orchard expansion to include Colossal, Chinese, and American Hybrid varieties

It all started in Italy
We fell in love with everything chestnut related while visiting Ghivizzno, a small town in the Tusancy region of Italy
Most of all we loved eating
Roasted chestnuts and home made gelato around every corner. It does not get any better!
After coming home, we began to read on the American Chestnut and the decimation of the North American Chestnut forest due to the blight. If you have not already done so, do yourself a favor and read a little about that interesting bit of history.
We decided to take a leap and plant our very own chestnut orchard
We dug a well
Dug trenches and installed irrigation
We had the best help!
And now we watch and wait as our trees grow and we prepare to expand
